SEMINOLE, Fla. — A Seminole High School student received the opportunity he’s been waiting for — to play for the school’s football team.

Nate Wilson was allowed to play in the final game of the season against rivals Osceola Fundamental High School.

“I’m just proud to be a Warhawk,” Wilson said.

Wilson, who is a triplet, was born premature and complications at birth led to physical disabilities.

But his small stature didn’t stop head football coach Chris Miller from noticing him.

“I have two children of my own that were born early,” Miller said. “I found out Nate loved football and he knows a lot about the game, so he became an honorary member of our team.”

Wilson wants to be a game developer after high school and his parents were excited to see him get the opportunity to play.
