FORT MYERS, Fla. – Ten kilos of spice valued at “several million dollars” were confiscated during a drug bust over the weekend resulting in the arrest of a 43-year-old Illinois man, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office said.

Sameh A. Sewiliam drove from Chicago to make the purchase, which would’ve resulted in more than 7,000 pounds of spice hitting the street, the department said.

Sewiliam is charged with possession of synthetic narcotics with intent to sell or distribute. He remained in the Lee County Jail on Monday under a $100,000 bond.
