CAPE CORAL, Fla. – The shooting death of a store manager outside a T.J. Maxx remains unsolved on its two year anniversary.
Alfred Griffiths was gunned down on Nov. 18, 2014 while taking a break outside the discount retailer on Del Prado Boulevard. But police have struggled to get any leads and identify suspects.
In 2015, detectives said they received 250 tips, but were unable to provide answers to Griffiths’ family. Little has changed this year, Trish Routte of Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers said Friday.
“We’re getting tips intermittently the last few days I think because of the anniversary it’s reminding people. But for the most part the swell of leads stopped a really long time ago,” she said.
Anyone with any information on the shooting is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477). All callers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward.
