FORT MYERS, Fla. – Boxes of bees created a traffic mess at Cypress Lake Drive and McGregor Boulevard Saturday morning, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office said.
The boxes were overturned, creating backups for the southbound lanes.
A beekeeper is headed to the intersection to address the situation, deputies said shortly after 9 a.m.
