GOLDEN GATE ESTATES, Fla. –A 10-acre brush fire took place near Ninth Street Southwest Friday afternoon, the North Collier Fire District said.

The North Collier Fire District and the Greater Naples Fire Rescue District battled the blaze for several hours, which threatened four homes.

However, the firefighters were able to contain the fire and no homes were damaged.
