Infotainment apps deliver bite-sized information

FORT MYERS, Fla.  In this social media driven-world, our brains fluently process information in tiny snippets.

Now, “infotainment apps” are changing the way we consume information by creating literature in the form of text messages. Apps like Hooked, Frequency and Quartz deliver information in conversational, text-sized chunks.

While most of the apps are free, some require payment for unlimited or premium use.
