
PUNTA GORDA, Fla. Residents can find more debris information on Charlotte County’s website.
The website includes a map showing where debris has already been collected, disposal tips and collection instructions.
Public Works crews began debris collection on Sept. 18 west of the Myakka River and started storm debris removal from arterial roads on Sept. 27 in mid-county, the county said.
The county waived visit limits for its two mini-transfer stations where residents can dispose of debris.
The transfer stations are open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday:
- 7070 Environmental Way,Englewood
- 19675 Kenilworth Blvd. in Port Charlotte
