Florida Southwestern Buccaneers basketball made program history this week when the women’s team reached 100 points for the fourth straight game Friday, beating Miami Dade 100-85.
The Bucs returned to Suncoast Credit Union Arena for a Saturday matinee, hosting Daytona State.
During Saturday’s game, No. 18 FSW forced Daytona State to turn the ball over 25 times and held their opponent to just 27 percent shooting to pull away with a 76-47 win.
The Bucs are now 10-2 this year and will be back in Suncoast Credit Union Arena on Tuesday, Dec. 11 to avenge one of their two losses on the year, as they host DME Academy starting at 5:30 p.m. on campus.
