Fort Myers man faces second-degree murder charge in 2017 shooting

Kendal James Curry, 22, faces second-degree murder charge for fatally shooting Marvin Peacock, 21, on November 12, 2017.

According to the Fort Myers Police Department, the charges were officially filed  Friday and Curry is currently in federal custody awaiting sentencing on additional charges.

Witnesses said Peacock was walking along the road when a group of men on ATV’s came up and shot him.
