National Hurricane Center in Miami says Tropical Disturbance 3 has dissipated to become remnants. The short-lived depression developed off the east coast of Florida Monday.

As of 11 a.m., maximum sustained winds are 35 mph. But NHC says the depression is less organized than earlier reports.

It continues to move northwest along the east coast of the state, but it’s expected to turn north-northeast with an increase in forward speed Tuesday. The NHC track keeps the center of the cyclone offshore of the coast.

Significant strengthening of the depression is not expected, with predictions that it will break apart by Wednesday.
