Beginning Tuesday, Collier County Sheriff’s Office will begin conducting a texting and driving enforcement campaign by deputies with the Aggressive Driving Unit and Commercial Motor Vehicle Unit cracking down on drivers.
Deputies will be making stops throughout the week, including during peak, rush-hour traffic, according to Collier County Sheriff’s Office.
Should you be stopped, a citation for texting and driving will cost $113. The campaign will last through Friday.
