Spending five hours on your phone a day could end up killing you. That is according to a new study by researchers in Colombia.
The study found young adults who use their smartphones five or more hours per day have a 43% increased risk of obesity and other health-related problems, including heart disease.
Latin American researchers said prolonged smartphone use leads to reduced physical activity, which could increase the risk of premature death.
