(Credit: Marylou Ward) We told you about the case of an exploding toilet on Monday in Port Charlotte after lightning destroyed a septic system. Two days later, the couple living at the home, now deemed unlivable, must wait to get it fixed. Even worse, they can’t go to the bathroom at their home with a destroyed plumbing system after lightning struck their septic tank. “Not very sanitary,” Marylou Ward said, “and not very much fun to sit on a bucket.” Reporter Erika Jackson went back there on Wednesday.
