Credit: Fort Myers Police Department. Fort Myers police say one person was killed in a drive-by, and an armed suspect is still on the loose. They want the public’s help to identify those who might be involved. Keion Upshaw, 23, was shot along the 1500 block of Gardenia Avenue, near the intersection with Michigan Avenue in Fort Myers. He later died at Lee Memorial Hospital. According to FMPD, armed suspects in a silver SUV, which is believed to be a Nissan Kicks crossover, fired multiple gunshots at a male victim and then drove away. The victim was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The Nissan was last seen going east on Michigan Ave. through Veronica Shoemaker Boulevard. FMPD warns the unknown suspects in the vehicle are considered armed and dangerous.
