Person hit by vehicle in Naples shuts down traffic on busy roadway

A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle Tuesday evening in Naples.

Naples Police Dept. tells WINK News that there is an active investigation involving a pedestrian hit by a vehicle along northbound U.S. 41 and Central Ave in Naples. Traffic is closed for the next several hours on the northbound direction, diverting onto 10th St. N.

NPD recommends using an alternate route.
