MGN How you are making ends meet now, could depend on where you went to school to get your degree. That’s according to a Georgetown University report that ranks the best colleges and universities by return of investment. The report ranks more than 4,000 colleges and universities across the country. It found Bachelor’s degrees from private colleges, on average, have higher returns on investment than degrees from public colleges. The results are based on 40 years after enrollment. Meanwhile, community colleges and certificate programs had the highest returns in the short term, but Bachelor’s degrees still fared better in the long run.
