At least one person died after a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 75 near Sarasota on Wednesday evening.
Fruitville Road at I-75 along with the southbound lanes of I-75 at Fruitville Rd. are closed. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at least one person died at the site. Multiple agencies are on the scene.
