Businesses are really struggling as the coronavirus pandemic continues, and many of them have shuttered, laying off workers.

But other businesses are stepping up to help those who have lost their jobs.

Truly Nolen Pest and Termite Control said a pandemic doesn’t stop the need to exterminate critters, and they have plenty of opportunities open for people who recently lost a job.

Toby Srebnik with Truly Nolen said the number of employment applications his company receives has spiked.

Now, they’re just trying to sift through applicants and hire as many people as they can.

“We’ve seen the volume of people that are applying continue in a steady stream and we’re in the process of calling a lot of these people back and trying set up phone interviews and FaceTime interviews,” he said.

Srebnik said anyone who needs a job should feel comfortable and confident reaching out to the company to see what openings they have available.
