The address where a man barricaded himself inside with several children. Credit: WINK News The Fort Myers Police Department is still looking for a man who barricaded himself inside a home with a weapon and several children present Thursday morning. What reportedly began as a domestic disturbance between a boyfriend and girlfriend at 1610 Cranford Ave. ended with children having to escape after police shut down the neighborhood and surrounded the house. Minor injuries have been reported, but not related to any of the children. Police are working on a search warrant for the home. The man was able to escape the building, and there is an ongoing search for him. Trust WINK News for updates.
