UPDATE: According to law enforcement, the two children have been found and are safe.
Florida Department of Law Enforcement has issued a Missing Child Alert for two children out of Avon Park in Highlands County Thursday, who are possibly in the company of an adult.
According to FDLE, 1-month-old Kinyin Barfield (baby girl) and 1-year-old John Barfield (baby boy) were last seen in the area of the 1000 block of Canberra Circle in Avon Park.
They might be with 30-year-old Jessica Wooten.
It’s unconfirmed what relationship the children have with Wooten.
