Cape Coral Police were looking for someone at Jim Jeffers Park that was bothering park visitors.
Investigators believe that the suspect was involved in a battery they were called to from a few miles away prior to heading to the park. They do believe the man was armed.
Since this was all so close together, Oasis Elementary North was put on a precautionary lockdown.
They did not locate the male suspect.
