
Investigators in Lee County want the public’s help to name a male person of interest in connection to an attempted robbery at a car wash in south Fort Myers Tuesday.
According to the Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers Facebook post, the robbery took place near a 7-Eleven located at Summerlin Road and Gladiolus Drive.
Investigator say the male was wearing a red, flat-brimmed hat and an unknown colored Under Armour-brand shirt.
The person of interested got away on foot and possibly traveled north along Winkler Road.
