Monica Renee Arnsperger, (Credit: Kenton County Detention Center) Florida Highway Patrol says a Collier County woman has been arrested in Kentucky after an investigation into a fatal crash on US-41 in September. FHP says Monica Renee Arnsperger was traveling east on US-41 on Sept. 26, 2021, when she crossed the center line and collided with the front of a car traveling west. Troopers say a 10-year-old girl in the car that was hit died. Troopers say Arnsperger, and the three survivors from the other car suffered serious injuries. FHP says Arnsperger was arrested by law enforcement in Kentucky on Wednesday after FHP concluded its investigation into the crash. She is facing charges of DUI manslaughter, vehicle homicide, DUI serious bodily injury, three counts of DUI property damage, and four counts of reckless driving injury/property damage. She is being held in Kenton County Detention Center in Kentucky while she waits to be extradited back to Collier County.
