Dry with more record heat possible for Southwest Florida

Record heat will return for many locations under mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies across southwest Florida.

These above-average temperatures will continue into the weekend before we see some relief from the heat on Monday. No precipitation expected through the weekend until a weak cold front moves through the area early next week.

Our boating forecast will be fantastic on Thursday. Weak wind will only make for light chop in our bays, with 1-2′ gulf wave heights.
