Deputies found the gray 2021 Chrysler 300 parked outside a grocery store in Golden Gate Estates around 7 p.m. on Monday, CCSO said.

Olson, who is homeless deputies said, was sitting in the front passenger seat and two children were sitting in the backseat.

Bulson-Bratton was exiting the grocery store when he saw deputies and fled, CCSO said.

Authorities found a gun in between the driver’s seat and the center console.

The couple, both 21, face charges of grand theft auto.

Bulston-Bratton also faces a charge of carrying a concealed weapon and possession of a fraudulent ID.

Deputies say Bulson-Bratton initially used the fake ID to identify himself, but it was found to be counterfeit.

Bulson-Bratton had an outstanding warrant for possession of a prohibited weapon out of Minnesota, CCSO said.

The two children were turned over to the custody of the Florida Department of Children and Families.
