Man sentenced to 35 years in prison for 2020 Lehigh Acres homicide

On Saturday, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office announced that the man responsible for shooting and killing a man in Lehigh Acres in May 2020 had been sentenced.

Benjamin Paige, 24, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder for the shooting death of Terence Brown in Lehigh Acres.

After Paige’s arrest, Sheriff Carmine Marceno said that Paige and Brown were in a sexual relationship. Paige had become angry because Brown refused to delete sexually explicit images of the two.

Paige was sentenced to 35 years in prison for second-degree murder with a firearm.
