According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, Pedro Mercado, 56, was charged with multiple car burglaries in North Fort Myers. One of the burglaries was caught on camera at a home and another at a Circle K using a credit card from one of the victims. Detectives executed a search warrant at the North Fort Myers Sabal Park Inn, where Mercado was staying. Detectives found stolen items from the burglaries and a backpack that Mercado was seen wearing.
