Three convicted felons from the Tampa area were arrested after Collier deputies say they stole more than $1,000 in liquor from Publix and led authorities on a high-speed chase that ended in Lee County.

Mia Faithestella McCoy, 24, Eric Lesley Ealy, 33, and 23-year-old Tonneka Shanne Crawford face charges in the crime, according to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office.

The three are accused of stealing $1,000 from a North Naples Publix at around 6:45 p.m. on Monday night.

Deputies attempted a traffic stop, but the driver, identified as McCoy, sped away at 90 miles an hour.

Deputies performed a PIT maneuver, disabling the vehicle, but the three fled on foot.

Crawford was quickly apprehended, while Ealy was found hiding behind a Dumpster and McCoy was found hiding under a pile of clothes on a nearby porch.

The trio were booked into Lee County Jail.
