According to state attorney documents, Dondre Shamar Williams, 32, was found guilty as charged with sexual battery on a child less than 12 years of age and lewd or lascivious molestation. The jury returned the guilty verdict after a two-day trial in Charlotte County. In June 2020, the child victim told her mother that an adult had touched her under her clothes. Her mother contacted the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies investigated and determined that Williams had molested the victim on more than one occasion, leading to his arrest.
