The suspect, who was armed, was unknown to the child, police said.

“It’s heart-dropping, really, it doesn’t really happen often where a kid gets kidnapped and get’s found the same day,” family member David Martinez said. Martinez told WINK News he is the child’s uncle.

Martinez said he was on his way back from basketball practice when he got the horrific news.

“I came home, my mom was crying and they told me that my nephew got kidnapped, I quickly got into my truck took my dad came here, came to the gas station, the Citgo where it all started,” Marinez said.

“Anything’s possible, with God anything’s possible, you just need to pray and with family you know consoling the mom, anything’s possible,” Marinez said.

Law enforcement is still looking for the suspect who was identified as a male in his 40s or 50s wearing a long green shirt and a camouflage fishing hat.
