(CREDIT: WINK News) Charlotte County Utilities Department has rescinded the boil water notice for Burnt Store Service Area customers only. This area encompasses Heritage Landings, Pirate Harbor, Burnt Store Lakes, Burnt Store Villages, Burnt Store Marina, Dollar General and the Myriad Luxury Motorcoach Resort. The water is now safe for consumption. Customers in the Port Charlotte service area, including West County, are still under a boil water notice until further notice. Staff is currently collecting samples in this area.
