A 15-acre brush fire has broken out in Lee County late Sunday afternoon.
According to the Florida Forest Service, the fire is in Lehigh Acres, on Oak Avenue and West 15th Street.
As of 5:15 p.m., none of the fire is contained.
There are three FFS tractor-plow units at the scene along with local fire departments.
It’s unknown what started the fire.
FFS is asking people to avoid the area due to the fire.
