According to Charlotte County Fire/ EMS, a patio fire occurred at a home in Port Charlotte.
CCF says that the fire spread up the wall and into the home through a window.
Water damage from a busted plumbing pipe and smoke damage occurred.
The fire is under control, and the Red Cross and the state fire marshal have been called in.
One resident was treated on the scene.
