Published: Updated:

If you have been on the roads you have seen the damage that still lingers after Hurricane Ian, but the City of Cape Coral has an encouraging update.

Fourteen intersections with traffic signals spread all over the Cape have new vehicle detection systems.

The cost for all new systems was nearly $320,000, but the Federal Highway Administration reimbursed the county $127,000.
