Credit: Lee County Sheriff’s Office A Lee County Sheriff’s Office lieutenant rescued a small dog during the heavy rainfall on Monday. While on patrol, Lt. Fine found the lost animal during the storm and rescued it, bringing the canine to safety. After being saved, the dog was then reported to the Lee County Domestic Animal Service, where the owner was swiftly located and contacted. The dog was then returned home before weather conditions worsened.
