Temporary closures planned for Cape Coral athletic fields

Three athletic fields in Cape Coral will temporarily close in May and another in June.

The city says the four athletic fields are closing for maintenance.

While closed, all other amenities at the parks will remain open to the public.

Below is a list of the parks undergoing maintenance and their closing and reopening dates.

Pelican Soccer Complex:

Closure Dates: May 6 – Aug.18
Re-opening: Aug. 19

Caloosa Park Football Fields:

Closure Dates: May 13 – July 21
Re-opening: July 22

Cape Coral Sports Complex Soccer Fields:

Closure Dates: May 20 – July 21
Re-opening: July 22

Jim Jeffers Park Soccer Fields:

Closure Dates: June 3 – August 11
Re-opening: August 12

The city says The Storm Football Complex will not undergo permanent closures. However, it will undergo scheduled maintenance during this time to ensure optimal conditions for athletes and visitors.
