Sun and clouds, scattered storms, above-normal temperatures — Sunday’s forecast has it all! After a mild start to the day, temperatures will reach the low to mid-90s by the afternoon.

“Sun and clouds will stick around this afternoon with an increased chance of showers and storms starting late afternoon into the evening,” explained The Weather Authority Meteorologist Lauren Kreidler.

Then, another round of scattered storms is possible on Monday, with temperatures reaching the low to mid-90s yet again.

Looking Ahead

After a stretch of dry weather, we are seeing more of a setup that would allow for more typical early summer afternoon/evening storms.

Isolated afternoon storms are possible daily as we look ahead to the workweek. Temperatures remain above normal, topping out in the mid-to-upper 90s by midweek.

Tropics

No development in the tropics is expected in the next 7 days.
