The memorial service for 12-year-old Andrew Sullivan, who was tragically killed in a car crash, is set to be held on Wednesday.

Community members in South Fort Myers gathered to offer their condolences to the grieving Sullivan family by constructing a bridge in Andrew’s honor.

Sullivan’s obituary released by Mullin’s Memorial reads, “Andy was an honor roll student who loved to play his guitar, ukelele, keyboard, French horn and violin. When he was not playing music or singing around the house, he could be found hanging out with his friends, working out at Planet Fitness, riding around the neighborhood, gazing at the stars, discovering astronomy through his SarBlue telescope, troubleshooting technology for the family and learning anything he could.”

Andrew’s memorial service will begin with a wake viewing from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at CityGate Ministries on 1735 Jackson Street.

The service will start at 6:30 p.m. and will be followed by a reception, which will also be provided at City Gate Ministries.

The memorial service is open to the public.
