Heat advisory with scattered storms for your Friday

The Weather Authority is tracking scattered storms, and a heat advisory has been issued throughout the Southwest Florida area.

The Weather Authority Meteorologist Zach Maloch said, “For the afternoon, expect showers and storms along with hot conditions. For any evening plans, isolated storms are in the forecast, so be mindful when going out this Friday night.”

Friday

Plan on another hot day for your Friday plans as highs soar into the mid-90s.

A heat advisory will be in effect through 8 p.m. for all Southwest Florida communities as “feels like” temperatures will range from 105 – 111°.

More rain and storms will develop early this Friday, with scattered rain and storms likely this afternoon and evening. 

Saturday

Dry, mild and humid start for your Saturday plans.

Temperatures won’t be as hot but still above average with highs in the lower to mid 90s.

“Feels like” temperatures will range from 100 – 105°.

Scattered rain and storms will develop and impact your Saturday afternoon and evening plans.

Sunday

Warm and humid conditions will be with us for Sunday morning.

Scattered rain and storms will develop through the afternoon and impact many communities through the evening.

Highs will be a touch cooler and in the lower to mid-90s with “feels like” temperatures ranging from 98 to 103°.
