A Bonita Springs neighbor was concerned when they heard faint chirping sounds from a nearby storm drain, so they called Bonita Springs Fire Control and Rescue District.

Firefighters responded and discovered about a dozen adorable baby ducklings trapped.

However, according to a post on the fire department’s Facebook page Tuesday, they managed to safely rescue every one of them.

The ducklings were reunited safe and sound with their relieved mother, and the family swam off through a nearby body of water.
