The Weather Authority is tracking a hot and humid Tuesday as Southwest Florida endures another heat advisory.

The Weather Authority Meteorologist Zach Maloch said, “For the afternoon, hazy and hot weather is expected with isolated storms to develop inland. Otherwise, Tuesday will be a warm and dry day.”

Tuesday

Plan on another hot day as highs soar into the lower to mid-90s.

A heat advisory is in effect for parts of Southwest Florida through 6 p.m. as “feels like” temperatures will range from 105 – 110°.

Isolated storms will develop inland later in the afternoon and evening.

You may notice rather hazy conditions in the sky over the next few days.

This is all thanks to a plume of Saharan dust that is moving across South Florida. We’ll see this through the week.

Wednesday

Wednesday morning will be quite warm and humid once again, with temperatures in the upper 70s and lower 80s.

Our hot weather pattern continues with highs in the lower to mid-90s.

“Feels like” temperatures will range from 102 – 107°.

Isolated rain and storms will develop inland throughout Wednesday.

Thursday

Warm and humid conditions will be with us yet again for Thursday morning.

Our drier pattern continues with isolated showers and storms possible through the day.

Highs will be a touch cooler and in the lower 90s with “feels like” temperatures ranging from 98 – 103°.
