The Community Blood Center, an affiliate of the Naples Comprehensive Health, is in need of blood donations.

The CBC stated donors with types O and A blood are needed immediately in Collier County to help boost the Community Blood Center’s critically low product inventories.

According to the CBC, the local shortage results from a sudden increase in usage by area patients coupled with a significant decline in donations.

Those who qualify can visit the CBC donor center at 1100 Immokalee Road in Naples, located on the first floor of the NCH Business Center.

The available hours are Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
