A man from Collier County has been arrested by Collier County Sheriff’s Office deputies after he allegedly stole an iPhone from Berkshire Hathaway Real Estate.

The victim said that Joshua Benjamin Langford, 31, pretended to be a prospective homebuyer and hid the iPhone in sales literature Tuesday before leaving the premises.

Detectives from the Naples Police Department pinged the iPhone’s location to Humble Bee Boutique at 2312 Pine Ridge Road.

Collier County deputies alongside Naples PD then observed Langford leaving the boutique. The deputies once again pinged the phone, and it was found on his person.

Langford was then taken into custody and arrested for grand theft. He was transported to Collier County Jail.
