Gov. DeSantis cancels news conference in St. Petersburg

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has canceled a news conference he was set to hold in St. Petersburg.

The news conference had been scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. on Monday at St. Petersburg College.

Florida Department of Education Commissioner Manny Diaz Jr. was slated to join DeSantis.

The announcement of the cancelation came 15 minutes before the conference was slated to begin.
