Photo by WINK News. The Florida Highway Patrol worked a crash on the Cape Coral Bridge Friday evening involving a sports utility vehicle and a moped. FHP told WINK News that both the moped and SUV were traveling east on the bridge around 10:30 p.m. when the SUV rear-ended the moped. The moped driver, a 39-year-old man, died on the scene. The other driver, a 38-year-old Fort Myers woman, did not suffer any physical injuries. The crash is now under investigation.
