Credit: CBS Authorities are investigating a crash between a car and a motorcycle that left one dead. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a crash involving a sedan and a motorcycle occurred on Friday night near Palm Beach Boulevard and Alta Vista in Fort Myers. The sedan was traveling north on Alta Vista Avenue, at the intersection of Palm Beach Boulevard (State Road 80). The motorcycle was traveling east, on the inside lane of SR 80 while approaching the intersection. The sedan turned right onto SR 80, attempting to cross all eastbound lanes when the motorcycle collided with the sedan. The motorcyclist sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital and later died. This crash remains under investigation.
