Dangerous heat and isolated storms for your Wednesday

The Weather Authority is tracking isolated storms and extremely high temperatures for this Wednesday afternoon.

The Weather Authority Meteorologist Zach Maloch said, “The string of hot afternoons will continue with very little reprieve from the rain as a few isolated storms are expected.”

Wednesday

Hot temperatures continue with isolated rain and storms once again possible for your Wednesday plans.

High temperatures will be in the mid-90s with “feels like” temperatures ranging from 105 – 110°.

Heat advisories will be in effect for Collier, Glades and Hendry Counties until 6 p.m. 

Thursday

The day will start warm and dry for the Thursday morning commute, with scattered storms developing in the afternoon.

Rain and storms will be possible from the early afternoon through the evening.

High temperatures will be in the mid-90s with “feels like” temperatures ranging from 105-110°. 

Friday

Scattered rain and storms are back in the forecast for your Friday plans.

Rain will be possible from Friday morning through the early afternoon before drier conditions arrive for Friday evening plans.

Temperatures will be quite hot again, with highs in the lower to mid-90s.

“Feels like” temperatures will range between 103 – 108°.
