Lee County Sheriff’s Office lieutenant accused of DUI, placed on administrative leave

A Lee County Sheriff’s Office lieutenant has been arrested after allegedly driving under the influence in Fort Myers over the weekend.

According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, a traffic stop was conducted on off-duty LCSO Lt. Christopher Tice at the intersection of Fowler Street and Colonial Boulevard on Saturday.

After the investigation, Tice was arrested for DUI.

Tice was placed on administrative leave without pay until the criminal case is concluded through the court system.

An internal affairs investigation will also be conducted.

LCSO hired Tice in November of 2006. He is currently assigned to the Homicide Unit and has no prior disciplinary actions.
