Elijah De Jesus Credit: The Lee County Sheriff’s Office A man from Cape Coral has been arrested after allegedly molesting a child under 12 years old. According to the Cape Coral Police Department, on Wednesday, at around 9 p.m., officers were dispatched to a home in Northwest Cape Coral about allegations of sexual molestation. Officers arrived on the scene and met with the underaged victim, who reported that they were sexually molested. Special Victims Unit detectives responded to the scene and later arrested 20-year-old Elijah De Jesus. Jesus was taken to the Lee County Jail and is being charged with lewd and lascivious behavior.
