Two women have been transported after being critically injured following an incident on Montgomery Avenue in Tice. Deputies started to enter the scene around noon on Friday. WINK News was on scene and witnessed several LSCO cruisers and dozens of deputies investigating. Deputies expanded the scene with crime tape multiple times. We saw officers going in and out of the crime scene tape, canvassing the neighborhood and knocking on neighbors’ doors. Neighbors say they’ve never seen a scene like this on this street. LSCO made a forced entry to a home after getting a concerning 911 call. Lee County Sheriff Carmine Marceno encourages the public to remain clear of the area while they investigate the scene. LSCO is fixated on one particular house, and we don’t know exactly why yet. Detectives had a search warrant signed around 3 p.m. LSCO plans on investigating throughout the night.
